This time, the topic of the Weekly Photo Challenge is “Friendship”.
I honestly don’t know if these two gentlemen are friends, but they struck me as a good metaphor for friendship:
You and your friend stand out from the crowd
(Several years ago, we visited Williamsburg, Virginia, where the eighteenth century part of the town has been painstakingly reconstructed. It’s staffed by people dressed for the period, who are ready to demonstrate how things were done back then or otherwise explain life 200-odd years ago. One day we happened across a contemporary fife-and-drum band performing, and I was amused to see these two gentlemen taking it in.)
they do stand out…funny isn’t it how something can make us think…just a small gesture is all at times
Yes – people watching is so interesting.
Like a sir. Nice…
Thank you.
Even the guy in the ball cap looks like he might be with them, if you consider the body language mirroring and all that … ?
That’s true, though I’m pretty sure he wasn’t. Maybe that’s just how some men habitually stand??
They really look like they should be friends!
Yes – partly it’s the similar clothes, but then again they did choose to spend their break or lunch or whatever together!
