Oddly, the photo I have on hand that works best for this week’s Photo Challenge looks something like the example…
Wildflower, Glacier Park, July of 2014
Beautiful flowers and the rule of thirds has really helped the picture and I like the soft blur in the background. Very nice.
Thank you so much! And I wasn’t even trying for the background blur – that was only a side effect of getting a good focus on this very small flower.
Yeah the blur is due to the flower being closer than the background and most likely the camera was using a small aperture which makes the blur bigger. Some of the best things in photography come from accidents.
