Weekly Writing Challenge: Five Days of Haiku

Haiku number 1, for this week’s WordPress Writing Challenge. The goal is to write five between today – Monday, November 25 – and Friday.

Since this is Thanksgiving week here in the U.S., I’m probably going to focus on things to be thankful for – after a fashion.

Today the old drawer
Came apart. Should I give thanks
It lasted this long?

  4. Good morning, Sharon. I’m doing this, too, but might only do it for today as I have posts ready to go for the next few travel days and Thanksgiving. No FF this week as I’m not going to take time away from family and fun to read. We leave early tomorrow morning. Praying the weather will be good.

    Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
