What does that mean – “lost in the details”? The current WordPress photo challenge asks us to find “photographs beyond the obvious…details hiding in plain sight.”
Some of the photos I’m offering this time are snippets cropped out of larger photos, interesting bits and pieces that weren’t the main point of the original image. Others are images around the corner, so to speak – sights that you could easily overlook. Anyway, here they are…

His name, as best I can make out, was O. Maria Barbaro, and he must have been important in Venice of the 1600s.
