I haven’t had much to offer for the WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge recently, but this time I was finally able to come up with an appropriate picture. This week’s topic is “kiss” -
and here’s a roughly life size statue based on the famous “World War 2 is OVER!” photo by Eisenstaedt. (Like so many of my “statue” pictures, this one comes from Grounds for Sculpture near Trenton, New Jersey.)










I saw that picture in a gallery in Cleveland not long ago (the original, I mean.)

Interesting – what was the exhibition about (or I suppose that photo could be part of their regular collection, too)?
No, it’s an exclusive but very small gallery. I think it might have been Life magazine covers, but I don’t remember for sure.
